100% wolvilt

• We use Premium Full Grain Leather. These leathers will age beautifully as they form a unique patina overtime. As any noble woods, you may be able to appreciate some natural marks that shall not be deemed as defects but as a true statement of natural quality.

• 100% Wool Felt is a natural fiber harvested from sheep. It is a renewable and eco-friendly material that provides you with traditional care and protection. Due to its properties, edges can be left raw and they won’t fray, it is a highly saturated non woven material that cannot be pulled apart, it is anti static, moisture resistant, self-extinguishing, it naturally repels soiling and it also feels soft to the touch.

- Dit product wordt met de hand gemaakt in onze werkplaats in Spanje met behulp van onze eigen zonnepanelen en batterijen, waardoor we onze ecologische voetafdruk sinds 2022 kunnen verkleinen en je producten met bijna 100% hernieuwbare energie kunnen maken.

Hoe werkt het? Op de meeste zonnige dagen maken we onze producten met 100% zonne-energie en als het niet zonnig genoeg is, werken de batterijen en helpen ons een beetje met de overtollige energie die we de vorige dagen hebben bespaard.

- Het leer dat we in dit product hebben gebruikt, komt van een leerlooierij die is gecontroleerd en gecertificeerd door de Leather Working Group (LWG). Dit is de hoogste milieunorm voor leerlooierijen en handelspartners en vereist van leerlooierijen dat ze hun water- en energieverbruik en het gebruik van potentieel gevaarlijke stoffen verminderen.

- De wolvilt die in dit product is gebruikt, is een natuurlijke vezel die afkomstig is van een Europese wolviltfabriek die een eigen waterzuiveringsinstallatie heeft en 50% zonne-energie gebruikt voor de productie, wat zorgt voor een verantwoord gebruik van hulpbronnen en een grote vermindering van afvalwater.

A Beautiful Leather & Felt strap

I have a bit of a camera problem - I have a few film rangefinders, compacts and SLRs, and obviously they all need a camera strap. Well, I suppose 1 or 2 might do, and I could switch it about a bit, but the Pentax ESII had an outing recently and it had an old vinyl strap, it needed an upgrade. When I ordered this strap from Harber I didn’t expect such beautifully soft leather, and it finishes the Pentax off to a T. I think, actually... it might have to go onto the Leica M6! This strap deserves a good camera, but I like the Pentax & the Leica.. hmmm, what to do... I might have to get another strap! Thanks Harber - love your work.
