We own and built our workshop from scratch, like every one of our products, allowing us to perfect every detail from the inside-out, down to the last stitch.

This helps us rapidly implement your feedback and fine-tune our products on a daily basis.

• We use Premium Full Grain Leather. These leathers will age beautifully as they form a unique patina overtime. As any noble woods, you may be able to appreciate some natural marks that shall not be deemed as defects but as a true statement of natural quality.

• Le feutre 100 % laine est une fibre naturelle récoltée sur les moutons. Il s'agit d'un matériau renouvelable et respectueux de l'environnement qui offre un entretien et une protection traditionnels. Grâce à ses propriétés, les bords peuvent être laissés bruts et ne s'effilocheront pas, c'est un matériau non tissé hautement saturé qui ne peut être séparé, il est antistatique, résistant à l'humidité, auto-extinguible, il repousse naturellement les salissures et il est également doux au toucher.

• This product is handmade in our workshop in Spain using our own Solar Panels and batteries, helping us reduce our carbon footprint since 2022, and make your products with almost 100% renewable energy.

How does it work? Most sunny days we make our products using 100% solar power and when is not sunny enough, the batteries kick in and gives us a little help with the excess energy saved from previous days.

• The Leather we used in this product comes from a tannery audited and certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). This is the highest environmental standard for tanneries and trading partners and requires tanneries to reduce their water and energy consumption, as well as their use of potentially hazardous substances.

• The Wool Felt used in this product is a natural fiber that comes from a European Wool Felt factory that has its own water treatment plant and uses 50% solar power for its production, ensuring a responsible use of resources and a great reduction of effluent.

A Beautiful Leather & Felt strap

I have a bit of a camera problem - I have a few film rangefinders, compacts and SLRs, and obviously they all need a camera strap. Well, I suppose 1 or 2 might do, and I could switch it about a bit, but the Pentax ESII had an outing recently and it had an old vinyl strap, it needed an upgrade. When I ordered this strap from Harber I didn’t expect such beautifully soft leather, and it finishes the Pentax off to a T. I think, actually... it might have to go onto the Leica M6! This strap deserves a good camera, but I like the Pentax & the Leica.. hmmm, what to do... I might have to get another strap! Thanks Harber - love your work.
