We use 100% full-grain leather, the highest quality layer of the hide. This top layer retains the natural grain, showcasing the leather’s unique character and durability. Unlike other types of leather, full-grain leather is not sanded or buffed to remove imperfections. Instead, it embraces the natural marks and variations, which contribute to the leather’s beauty and authenticity. This type of leather is incredibly strong and develops a beautiful patina over time, enhancing its appearance and value with age.

Only about 15% of hides worldwide are suitable for full-grain leather, making it a rare and prized material. The natural durability and flexibility of full-grain leather mean it will last for years, ageing gracefully and becoming more unique as it develops a patina.
