After buying a 16-inch MacBook Pro, I had been looking for a sleeve for weeks. I loved the design of the Herber London range of sleeves, but as I hadn't heard of the brand before I was a bit hesitant to pay a relatively premium price. However, in the end, I couldn't find anything I liked as much and ordered it. I wasn't sure whether to opt for this microfibre version or the leather one, but the microfibre sleeve fits my MacBook perfectly and it looks and feels like a premium product. I regret not ordering it sooner. The wool lining is very good quality, but the wool is a little coarser than I was expecting it to be; I don't think it will scratch the body of the MacBook, but I'm not sure about the mirrored Apple logo on the lid - which is not something that I am that precious about, as they always pick up scratches anyway (poor material choice by Apple), but others may be. There are sleeves that offer more padded protection out there, but I only wanted this to act as a barrier against anything that may end up pushing up against my laptop in my rucksack, etc. I would have liked the product to have a little more excess material on the open side to protect the exposed edge of my laptop more, but this would have spoilt the aesthetic slightly. Furthermore, if Herber did a magnetic envelope sleeve in the grey microfibre style I probably would have bought that instead. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and will order from Herber London again in the future.
